3. Handmade pretty cards

4. Decorative stuff like colourful markers etc

5. Clothes or accessories or just pretty colourful stuff heehee!

6. Recipe book for good food so i can cook for you all!

7. Handbag that's big enough to put all my stuff in and err easy to match with!

i believe all my good friends have good taste! ^^ actually its the thought that count i would love a pretty handmade card too! it would really make my day. haha, a bit thick-skin to put what i want for my birthday down! oh and pls dont give me food for my birthday!

i was looking through some of my overseas cip trip photos

and i came across this few. really brings back good memories...

the kids are so adorable^.^

the picture below depicts some huts built in close proximity to the sea.

When the tide gets too high,

the huts will get destroyed partially/totally,

which explains why some of the huts are in such a bad state.

makes us question how the villagers can withstand those harsh conditions?

they don't even have the ability to buy a house in other areas that

has a better foundation :(

i think tennis is the only sport ive ever been really passionate about ^^

its a pity that i didnt start taking up the sport since young!

tennis strokes always captivates and never fails to amaze me,

like volley, topspin,service,slice, smash, backhand, forehand etc.

my new coach really inspires me to strive and play well for the sport

i am envious of the tennis team in my college,

and i regret not going for the tryouts :(

nevertheless, i hope i can get into ntu tennis school team!

since ntu's where i wanna go and has the course i want!

so from now until then, im going to start taking tennis more seriously

and practice more regularly after my a levels!! (since more priority should be on studies now)

i ask myself, does my love for others come directly from the heart?

or is it just a superficial facade i put on.

because ultimately if i love others deep within, actions should speak louder than words.

at the end of the day, does results equal everything?

or family, friends and love take priority.

cause if i cant do all those, then having good grades would mean nothing

and i would be empty at the end of the day.

achievements, successes, winning titles are temporal but true love, friendship and other intangible things last for eternity.

sometimes i question my beliefs whether they are firmly rooted, or one that can be

easily destroyed and eroded...

i managed to do my shopping during the last one week in preparations for the Chinese New Year! (cause its a time when my mum sponsers me with the money to buy clothes!) anyway, i got two great deals. i bought this yellow vintage dress at such a bargain from the original price of 79 bucks to 20 bucks. also, i paid for this light pink polka dots dress with a ribbon bow at the front and vintage buttons on it and got it at a discount, comparing it to the original price which was 109 bucks, i paid 65 bucks! though it's still quite expensive, but it was sucha steal, cause the design and cutting was so unique, vintage and preppy. cant wait to wear those clothes for CNY.

i ordered heels online too, but they wont be able to come in time for Chinese New Year :( never mind i can wear it after that. the heels are like 8 cm so i will look so much taller yay! Hope i will be able to balance in them though. got a few other items from sprees etc and sales online!! online shopping i is the best, cause i can shop amidst studying and exams LOLOLOL. i ordered some scrapbooking materials online as well and they just got shipped in today but the seller got them mixed up and gave me another theme instead :S:S i am sad, that's why online shopping is not always reliable. i think she will refund me or something though or maybe give me something free?? HAHAHA. i think i will have to refrain myself from shopping/online shopping for some time already since i used up most of what i saved for the past few weeks!

my mum just displayed all the goodies and snacks for Chinese New Year and the pineapple tarts are so good! and i dunno how she found fried salmon skin as Chinese New Year snack hahaha. oh by the way, love letters are my favorite during Chinese New Year!

i just trimmed my hair and i decided to cut my fringe into bangs as a sign of the ending of holidays and starting of school :] speaking of school, i have so much homework to finish and milestone assessment on the first week of school. well, i have to do one critical appreciation of men by maya angelou, 2 detailed annotations for two other poems, great expectations analysis on every chapter of the novel, comparison between brave new world and 1984, one essay on 1984, 1 market failure essay question and 24 math prelim questions to complete! let's see, im kinda done with my comparison and i think i left 10 more questions for math. halfway done with the critical appreciation and i need to complete it by tonight cause i got to go back to school tomorrow just to hand it in. luckily, the milestone assessment on the first week is only on h2 subjects which is literature, math and economics!! hahah, why does holidays always end so quickly and i realised everyone is like me, we wait till the last min to complete all our work! hmm, and im quite excited to go back to school because i will be able to see everyone.

went out with rachel and tricia today!! (: we decided to head down to ikea. it's been long since i last went there. i still love their meatballs, chicken wings and poached salmon. me and tricia wanted to steal their recipe for their meatballs and their sauce. we went to the supermarket to check the ingredients in it but sadly they didnt give the measurements :( anyway, why would they right?? its their special recipe. but tricia we go try and make meatballs and see if they taste alike. oh but we found that their meatballs has bread crumbs in it, cool right. okay, so i didnt get anything from ikea because there was nothing much that caught my eye. tricia bought fake flowers to decorate her room. love the colours of the flowers. rachel? wow, seriously its like she was doing a shopping spree! she bought three stools, one colourful chair and one dustbin. hahaha, i was like rachel you got so many things how to carry!!!! and in the end we ended up carrying for her while she ate her ice-cream lolololololol. nevertheless, enjoyed their company thoroughly today. rachel hope you are feeling better aye?? and thanks so much for giving me and tricia the pretty earrings!!
